1. Account Deletion Overview
At StatusVerse, we value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. This page provides step-by-step instructions on how to delete your account and describes what happens to your data after deletion.
2. Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is immediately and permanently removed from our active database servers:
- User Profile: Your name, email address, profile picture URL, and unique Google identifier (UID).
- Personal Collections: All your liked quotes, saved quotes, and custom bios.
- Device Tokens: Any registered push notification tokens linked to your account.
- App Preferences: Your language settings and user configurations.
Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered. If you log in again in the future, a completely new account will be created.
3. How to Delete Your Account
We provide two options for deleting your account and removing your data:
Option A: Delete Instantly In-App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the StatusVerse mobile application:
- Open the StatusVerse app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to your Profile screen.
- Tap on the Settings (gear) icon in the top corner.
- Scroll down and tap on Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice in the pop-up dialog.
Your account and data will be deleted immediately.
Option B: Request Deletion via Email
If you no longer have the app installed or are unable to delete your account in-app, you can request manual data removal:
- Send an email to: avishshiroya87@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: StatusVerse Account Deletion Request.
- Provide the Google email address associated with the account you wish to delete.
For your security, we may ask you to verify your identity before proceeding. Once verified, your account and all associated data will be deleted within 48 to 72 hours. We will send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
