1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the StatusVerse mobile application and any of its associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are prohibited from using the application and must uninstall it immediately.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date of these Terms, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change.
2. User Accounts & Security
To access certain features of the application, such as saving quotes to your personal collection or synchronizing data, you are required to log in via Google Sign-In. By using Google Sign-In, you agree that:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account are your responsibility.
- You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Application, including its source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, graphics, and backgrounds (collectively, the "Content") are owned or licensed by us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
The Content is provided in the Application "AS IS" for your personal, non-commercial use only. Except as expressly provided in these Terms & Conditions, no part of the Application and no Content may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.
4. Prohibited Activities
You may not access or use the Application for any purpose other than that for which we make the Application available. The Application may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.
As a user of the Application, you agree not to:
- Systematically retrieve data or other content from the Application to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from us.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Application.
- Use any automated system, including scripts, robots, scrapers, or offline readers, to access the Application or backend API.
- Attempt to impersonate another user or person, or use the username or Google credentials of another user.
- Use the Application in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Application or the networks or services connected to the Application.
5. Application License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application on mobile devices owned or controlled by you, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
6. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
7. Term and Termination
These Terms & Conditions shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Application. WITHOUT LIMITING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION AND WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY, DENY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE APPLICATION (INCLUDING BLOCKING CERTAIN IP ADDRESSES), TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY REASON.
